Based on a one-hour film by Yasuomi Umetsu, Kite Liberator (2007). A crime-ridden, virtually lawless dystopian hellscape plays host to Sawa, a young assassin haunted by the murder of her parents at age twelve. Now eighteen and enjoying a reputation as a masterful femme fatale of sorts, Sawa sets out on a quest for revenge against the gangsters responsible for rendering her an orphan.
