A lower-class young man's massive lottery win forces him to survive a three-day weekend whilst being surrounded by opportunistic neighbors.

ABSTRACT
Kevin Carson, a young man living in the blighted Fillmore Projects, finds his life turned upside down when he becomes the owner of a winning lottery ticket worth $370 million. From there, he must work to survive a three-day Fourth of July weekend in a stereotypically-urban neighborhood filled to the brim with gangsters, phony preachers, and insincere lovers before he can claim his winnings and break free from his surroundings.
