ABSTRACT
Memnon is a conqueror to rule all conquerors in an ancient time predating the construction of the Pyramids, utilizing the talents of psychic sorceress Cassandra to divine his military operations and extend his totalitarian juggernaut's reach across the globe. Desperate for one last stand against the seemingly unstoppable Memnon, the world's few remaining pockets of resistance band together to engage the services of Mathayus, an assassin working with a cast of unlikely characters to thwart the evil king and fulfill a prophecy foretelling his becoming the noble Scorpion King.
