A lonely doctor embarks on a curious, time-bending relationship with her old house's former occupant.

ABSTRACT
Kate Forster is a lonely and sexually frustrated Chicago doctor, departing her present place of residence -- an old glass house built by noted architect Simon Wyler -- for a luxury apartment downtown, using the house's mailbox to leave a message directing mail to her new address. Inexplicably, the mailbox acts as a portal through time of sorts, drawing Kate into a friendship with Alex Wyler, Simon's troubled son and a former occupant of the house, into a romance they ultimately work to unravel even though Simon exists two years in her past. Remake of a South Korean film, il-mare-2000 (2000).
