ABSTRACT
Becky Fuller, a workaholic and aspiring producer, is hired by television station IBS as an executive producer for their morning show, DayBreak, after being laid off from her job at the local Good Morning New Jersey. Realizing shortly after being hired that she is now at the helm of a fast-sinking ship, Becky must work to keep the egos of DayBreak's stars in check whilst simultaneously attempting to convince a popular veteran reporter who refuses to do "soft news" stories to come on board and help revive the show.
