Dean Wormer attempts to banish the notorious Delta House fraternity from Faber College in 1962. The fraternity, now on "double secret probation", does not take this lying down; along the way we witness a toga party, food fight, an an equine death in Wormer's office. The first film of its kind, it launched a tidal flood of imitators none of which hold a candle to the original.
