Texas rancher and former astronaut trainee Charles Farmer, suffering considerable financial difficulties and in risk of losing the family ranch altogether, maintains his own improbable space program and enlists his children to serve as mission control; somehow, we are expected to believe his wife does not try to put a stop to all this. Despite the required suspension of both disbelief and the very laws of science, a somewhat enjoyable train of absurdity.
