ABSTRACT
Bob Saginowski, a sad, lonely Brooklyn bartender, takes part in a scheme involving "money drops" to local gangsters, with his employer used as a "legitimate" front. Before long, Bob becomes entangled in a robbery gone horribly awry, a calamitous event giving way to an investigation poised to expose disquieting truths about Brooklyn's age-old criminal underworld.
