Two humble South Korean brothers embark on a tragic tour of duty in their country's military during the Korean War.

ABSTRACT
Jin-seok and Jin-tae Lee are two young adult brothers living a humble life in pre-Korean War South Korea, managing to just enough to get by alongside the rest of their family and Jin-tae's fiancee. Jin-seok is unexpectedly forced to fight with his nation's army when the North mounts an invasion; Jin-tae joins up in solidarity. Two brothers accustomed to a peaceable agrarian life are thrust into the terrifying realm of war, each meeting a tragic and irreversible end.
