ABSTRACT
Beckett Warner is a profoundly troubled sixteen-year old girl, attending a Manhattan preparatory school after moving to New York City with novelist father Miles following her mother's death in a sailing accident. Beckett's psychosis takes hold of her mind as a number of strange events plaguing her school transpire, leading to a strange discovery that it might be operated by a coven of sirens sustaining themselves for eternity on the blood of virgins.
