REVIEWS

Review by Ian (posted on 18-Dec-2010)

This is a sleeper that needs to be rediscovered. Maureen O'Hara and John Candy were fantastic as mother and son. Candy was so respectful of O'Hara and her film legacy that, while on the lot during filming, he threatened to move out of his trailer, if she wasn't provided one of her own. The story is thoughtful, almost has an indie feel, and the collection of stars make for a fun ensemble movie that has lots of heart. If anyone is a fan of John Candy, Maureen, or any of this crazy collection of actors and comedians, watch this movie!
