Young attorney Johnny Mason marries Jane after a one-day courtship; Jane's unpleasant live-in-mother Harriet remains in a constant state of disapproval regarding their marriage. Romantic comedy which veers rather far into strange dramatic territory. Good production values, weak script. Much of the film is in a similar vein to Penny Serenade (1941).
