The Battle of Austerliz as depicted in this film was made inside a studio, with one or two outdoor locations and a few hundred extras trying their best to look like armies of thousands. Jack Palance gave one of the best performances as a Austrian general, but the script and terrible acting by other members of the cast did nothing to save this film from being a disaster.
