ABSTRACT
Organized crime has Brooklyn in a vise in 1988, with a conflict between Russian mobsters and police officers forcing the NYPD to step up their crime-fighting efforts like never before. Caught amidst the madness is Bobby Green, a fast-living nightclub manager whose ties to patron and drug lord Vadim Nezhinski lead to trouble when brother and police captain Joseph Grusinsky opts for a raid on his club, producing a bloody standoff threatening to tear two estranged brothers apart for good.
