ABSTRACT
Remake of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974). Five young adults and best friends pick up a hitchhiker deep in the rural hinterlands of Texas, only to have the disturbed young woman shoot herself in their vehicle. Shaken to their core by the unfolding situation, the group seek assistance from the occupants of an isolated home alongside the road, only to end up fighting for their lives as the prey of a chainsaw-wielding serial killer called "Leatherface" after the rural area's disgraceful past is made readily apparent.
