ABSTRACT
A vampire-fueled pandemic strikes Earth, transforming our modern world into a vicious hellscape where mortal humans live like their hunter-gatherer ancestors and operate in constant fear of beasts stalking the planet. One such individual, a young boy named Martin, enters the custody of cold-blooded vampire hunter Mister after his family is slaughtered, taken on a death-defying journey through the ruins of America with the sanctuary afforded by Canada -- since rechristened "New Eden" -- as their destination.
