ABSTRACT
Dave Boyle, Jimmy Markum, and Sean Devine, three Boston men torn apart as childhood friends when Dave was abducted and sexually abused by two men over several horrifying days in 1975, reunite by chance in the present day when Dave surfaces as the lead suspect in the unsolved murder of Jimmy's daughter Katie. Sean, now a police detective tasked with cracking the case, finds old bonds put to the test and demons revisited as he endeavors to solve the mystery at hand.
