An elderly opera singer in 1910 Paris leaves her fortune to Duchess and her kittens; Edgar, the jealous butler, kidnaps the lot of them and abandons them in the countryside. It is up to a feral tomcat, Thomas O'Malley, to help them find their way home. One of few Disney animated productions which is an original story, albeit derivative.
