ABSTRACT
Ally Craig, a 21-year old student at New York University imbued with a constant desire to live each day of her life to the fullest ever since witnessing her mother's murder on a subway train a decade earlier, meets 21-year old university bookstore employee Tyler one day after he runs into trouble with her police detective father. Tyler, who lost his brother Michael to suicide earlier in his life, bonds with Ally over their mutual losses, striking up a romance that builds up to the tragic events of September 11.
