A famous DJ at a British radio station must work to defuse a calamitous situation when his employer is subjugated by a new media conglomerate.

ABSTRACT
North Norfolk Digital, a radio station in Norwich, England, is taken over by a media conglomerate and re-branded as "Shape", a change that looks to make several employees of the station expendable. When Alan betrays friend and fellow DJ Pat Farrell to save his own hide by suggesting that he be sacked, he gets his wish and then some, forced into a position as a makeshift hostage negotiator for the local authorities after Pat returns to his former employer with a shotgun and a death wish.
